The Macallan 60 Year Old Red Whisky Collection is evidence of our deepest respect for craftsmanship, tradition, and history. It pays homage to the diverse range of reds found in The Macallan at every phase of the manufacturing process.

The iconic red hue is included in both the Macallan 60 Year Old Red Whisky Collection “Choice Old” range, which was first released in 1903, and Allan Shiach’s decision to label antique Macallan bottles with a red ribbon in the 1980s. Our founder, Alexander Reid, whose name means “The Red,” is also characterized by its characteristic red hue.

The Red Collection is a unique range of rare and distinguished single malt scotch whiskey that embodies The Macallan’s dedication to quality.

This 60-year-old version is matured in casks that have been seasoned with sherry and refill. The scent has overtones of sweetness and fruit, with baked peach and pineapple, figs, and dates.

The fragrance has a wonderful resinous scent due to the undertones of leather.Mango and papaya notes emerge on the palate from ginger undertones and dry old wood characteristics. There’s licorice, lime, and dark chocolate in the complex finish.
