Polly Logan, the Macallan Whisky Maker, sifted through the maturing stocks of the distillery, searching for casks that carried the exotic, rich fragrances of chocolate that she had come to know from her time working at Casa Cacao. This amazing single malt whisky, which is created from a harmonious blend of American and European oak casks, pairs perfectly with the finest chocolates.
Compared to the dark, bittersweet notes of the original Rich Cacao, the Macallan Fine Cacao has a mellower profile of milk chocolate, which was produced through different oak barrels and a lower ABV. The Macallan is making chocolate rain once more with the release of Fine Cacao, the second single malt with a cocoa theme to join its extremely premium Harmony Collection.

From now until June 30, 2022, The Macallan will be collaborating with Changi Airport and Lotte Duty-Free on a pop-up to commemorate the limited-edition bottle’s global debut in Singapore. Until its worldwide distribution later this month, the bottle may only be purchased at travel-related retail establishments in Singapore. The artwork, located in Terminal 3 Departure Hall, offers visitors an augmented reality experience to learn more about the whisky. It was created using reclaimed materials.

Additionally, Lotte Duty-Free shops at Singapore Changi Airport now sell the Macallan Harmony Collection Fine Cacao. It will become offered at additional foreign travel retail stores starting in mid-May 2022.
